Europe Delivery is effected by COVID-19

Dear Values Customers,

The following information is published till March 19, 2020. If there is any new information, we will update it in time.

For the countries not mentioned, maybe a little delay, but without serious influence.

Affected by the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), here is the latest delivery condition of Europe :

Italy: Deliverable

1. Due to the effect of COVID-19, parcels will be Posted to the local mailbox or recipients’ doorstep to avoid face to face contact, which may lead to recipients cannot obtain the proof of receipt during this period.

2. All Italy is considered orange zone. SDA will doing their best to maintain service level, but due to force majeure, delivery delay is expected. (especially Lombardy)

Spain: Deliverable

2. The injection hubs will remain opened from Monday to Friday, with minimum staff and security protocols in force. Delivery network will work. No direct mail, or second class items will be delivered during this period. KPI’s for parcels will be seriously affected. Postal offices will remain opened but only 4 hours per day. All afternoon or Saturday deliveries has been cancelled.

UK: Deliverable

Due to the effect of COVID-19, parcels will be Posted to the local mailbox or recipients’ doorstep by to avoid face to face contact, which may lead to recipients cannot obtain the proof of receipt during this period.

France: Deliverable

The parcels will be transmitted to other pick-up points where can provide related service if the local post offices or pick-up points are shutdown.

Germany: Deliverable

Poland: Deliverable

1. The delivery network will remain operational however to expect delays due to circumstances where labour force and transport networks are affected. Due to the effect of COVID-19, parcels will be Posted to the local mailbox or recipients’ doorstep to avoid face to face contact, which may lead to recipients cannot obtain the proof of receipt and the delivers will be delayed during this period.

2. All PP WERs (Forwarding and Distribution Node) are working but there is a delay right now. From Thursday （3.12）, they have the proposition to distribute leaflets about the virus. For now Polish post stopped all outbound mail so they can focus on domestic distribution

Ireland: Deliverable

Belgium: Deliverable

1. The delivery network will remain operational however to expect delays due to the traffic control.

2. Due to the effect of COVID-19, parcels will be Posted to the local mailbox or recipients’ doorstep to avoid face to face contact, which may lead to recipients cannot obtain the proof of receipt during this period.

Cyprus: Deliverable

1. The delivery network will remain operational however to expect delays due to circumstances where labour force and transport networks are affected.

2. The parcels will be transmitted to other pick-up points where can provide related service if the local post offices or pick-up points are shutdown.

Denmark: Deliverable

1. Bring will no longer allow recipients to sign PDAs due to the risk of infection. This will apply until further notice. Drivers will record deliveries and the GPS coordinates will be recorded automatically upon delivery.

2. The parcels will be transmitted to other pick-up points where can provide related service if the local post offices or pick-up points are shutdown.

Sweden: Deliverable
