Smoant Charon TS 218 is like a mobile phone, with rounded corners. Both the front side and the back side are glass material. Looks In good quality and with nice material.

Smoant Charon TS 218 comes in a size of 59.5 mm width, 85 mm length and 29.3 mm depth. The size is bigger/wider than recent touch screen box mod in the market. But TS 218 comes with the biggest touch screen so far, in 2.4 inch.

The design of the mod is simple. As this mod has a touch screen for adjusting, there are only fire button, USB port and the screen lock button on the side bar. The screen on/lock button is new to the mod, short press to turn off the screen and long press can lock and unlock the screen. Turning off the screen can save battery life and the button is easy to use. The button can not lock the power, so if you need lock the power, you may still need to use the fire button, some may get confuse with this 2 button.

Smoant Charon TS 218 is very good in processing. The glass screen plate and the glass battery cover plate fit on the frame very well, and no uncomfortable gap between the body frame and the plate. There is a small slot to open the battery cover beside the cooling hole.

Open the battery cover and this mod uses 2 x 18650 batteries. The battery cover is well fit on the mod body and firmly fixed by 4 pairs of magnet.

UI of Charon TS 218 is very neat . Top 2 bars showing the battery capacity. Right in the middle is the output power, and bottom shows the current, voltage and the resistance of the atomizer. One con is as I know we cannot adjust the background or UI in this mod.

It’s easy to use this mod to adjust the data you want to use. Just touch the screen.

One pro for this mod is it comes with current curve adjustment. It’s very easy to adjust the output curve you want for your mod. Simply touch the corresponding part on the screen. The adjustment of the output wattage is in certain value, not percentage. So if you are changing your atomizer, you may need to modify the setting.

Not only with the current curve adjustment, TS 218 also comes with a Temp Control Curve for you to use under temperature control mode. This function gives user a chance to use the atomizer under different temperature and thus can bring a different level of the flavor. However, it’s useless to me as I am not interested in TC and I can’t tell the difference when using the curve.
