Today we are going to talk about the Murdex Halo-T RDTA, which is designed and manufactured by Carson Tech.
This RDTA has 2 versions with different material, one Halo-T (316) with stainless steel 316 and one Halo-T (Ti) with Titanium. The most creative part of this RDTA is it has a coils multi selection ring system. Basically you can build a single coil or dual coil on this RTA, if you have dual coil built, you can shut off the power of one coil and use it as single coil. You can also switch to choose which coil to shut off.
Well let’s dive down to see more about the Halo-T Tank. The 316 and Ti version shares the same black boxing with different labels stating the version.
The left one is the Titanium Halo-T and the right one is SS316 Halo-T. The titanium Halo-T is lighter than the SS316 one. They share the same looking and the titanium one is darker in color. There also a mark telling which version (Titanium or SS-316) the tank is.
We take the SS-316 Halo T and take a look at more details of it. In the box: a Halo-T RTA, a extension tank, extension chimney, spare screws, screw drivers and spare o-rings
This tank has a wide range of bottom air flow control. Above the air flow control is the coil control ring, you can choose coil A, B or A+B by easy switching.
Take this tank apart, the drip tip, top cap, chimney, tank, deck.
Using the extension tank and chimney, you can get a 5.5mL tank, while the original is with 3mL tank.
This Halo-T give you a adjustable tank with 3ml and 5.5ml capacity
Here comes the deck. it has 4 post, 2 positive and 2 negative. A and B. You can switch to use A, B or A+B. And the coil is powered based on the system you choose. You can use A for kanthal coil building and B for SS316 coil building, then using the switch ring you can have A for normal vaping and B for TC vaping. You can also use the same coil with dual coil build on this deck. Use dual coil for huger vapor cloud and when your battery power is going down, you can switch to single coil to save energy.
Here is a short video about this Halo-T RDTA:
Some opinion:
1 Very nice tank. Wide range of air flow adjustment. Creative and unique coil control system ring design. Nice flavor. Machining is really nice, good quality both the 316 ss verison and the Titanium version.
2 The post is a little too close and screw is small for coil building. Fine cloud but not that huge.
Now 3FVAPE have both Halo-T and Halo-S Tank.

I do like the tank. I have had for two days and can say it’s probably the best I have in my collection very much even with the hurricane and my junior. I am running a single 24g. Titanium build and it’s about max for what the small screws will handle. Wicking is phenomenal. I think because the distance between juice inlet and wall of tank. I can take pull after pull and get full on saturated dense vapes. I’ve run in 3ml only so far and really like it. Standard wire spaced builds are great on this, I fit a 26/32 Clapton but theirs no need for it. .. Thinking about getting the stainless version next.
